Ifa readings from a friend.
I forgot to say that I am supposed to be compensated for any reading I do. I keep forgetting. If you would trade me a reading or something, that would be awesome!
You, daughter of Sjoeke, received the Odu (holy verse) ODI OGUNDA (oh-dee oh goon dah)
Regarding the success of your business:
You received a lot of advice! It is given as important, meaning, the Orisa are firm that you take heed.
Osun (Oshun) spoke to you.
says that you should avoid “anti-social” behavior, meaning, pay
attention to how you are coming off to people. It is extremely important
that if someone takes you “wrong” – make it clear to them what your
intentions are, even if you do not like the person. Acquire the ability
to connect. Your boundaries are good, so don’t worry. But do not cater
to evil people, regardless of their money. NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT MAKE
THE MONEY THE GOAL.
Also there is advice concerning legal stuff. It is important that you do everything legally well, so you are protected. OGUN will help with that. (He also was present.) Cross your ‘t’s and dot your ‘i’s.
Odi Ogunda focuses on the energy: Rebirth leads to the clearing of obstacles.
Odi Ogunda points to that which must be cleared: which is obstacles in socialization.
Learn to socialize well. If there is something that makes you uncomfortable about a person, learn to let go of the discomfort. Connection doesn’t have to be extreme, but comfortable.
Meditate more on this. Oshun’s voice is very strong here about this.
Also, they asked you to pray to your Ori (oh-ree) your head, conscious, higher self, god self, every morning. Pray for success of how your business affects others.
Ebo (eh-bow) was asked for. I gave it. They accepted it. Oshun received honey, cowry shells, cinnamon, and shea butter. Ogun received gin, dried meat, and popcorn. (Your job is to pray to Ori.)
Verse for Odi Oguna: (one of them – there are many)
A fallen tree cannot change its position
Cast IFA for Ire, Blessings
Son of Oniwani
He was advised to offer Ebo
He who wants good things in life
Must exercise patience
Lack of patience
Refusal to heed advice
Will make a person miss their destined blessings
This reminds me of the story of Oshun and Ogun. Ogun is portrayed as (in a major human life) very intelligent in the way an engineer is – creative, spacial, etc. He was shy. He lived in the woods (still does). He symbolizes human society due to his brilliance in industry. So Oshun had to coax him out of the woods so that humans could live together. She used ‘honey’ and lured him out.
May Ifa bless you!
Ifa! If you ever initiate, you would initiate to Ifa/Orunmila, God of Mystery – He who knows everything.
Ifa (ee-fah) is the concept of “universe” and as god, is the deity “Orunmila” (oh-rune-mee-lah). In the diaspora (cuba, brazil, haiti, u.s.) where women are not crowned Ifa, (I hear some lineages are doing that now, which is awesome,) you would probably be crowned Obaluaiye. But in Nigeria, you would be crowned Ifa and become Iyanifa.
reading was composed of Irete meji (double Irete). Irete means:
perseverance leads to good fortune. People with this odu important to
them should stay close to ORI and Mother Earth.
You will feel love and connection to all Orisa.
Warning is for you to avoid stubborness, especially in regards to change.
**Also, you should always wear an Ide Ifa (Ifa bracelette: please measure your wrist and send me the measurement! I have the beads.)
There is a strong association with the Orish, Obaluaiye, the God of Disease. Priests who work with Obaluaiye help cure people. (oh-ba-loo-ah-ee-yay)
For your life blessings, I was asked to offer the following ebo: cool water to ORI, palm oil to IFA, palm oil and gin to ESU, palm oil to SANGO, fruit and almond milk to IYAMI (called the witches, and the mothers at different times.)
Ire O! Ase.
May your days be filled with balance.
